Night Talk: History of the Tataviam People

The Ridge Route Communities Historical Society and Museum is hosting a night talk.

Dr. Laurie Solis, adjunct professor of anthropology, will speak on the Tataviam people.  She will cover the history of the Tataviam, who occupied the So. Antelope, Santa Clarita, and Upper San Fernando Valleys.  She will discuss the archaeological as well as ethnographic evidence and show artifacts such as manos, mutates, projectile points & scrapers.

She will have copies of her book "Tataviam: People Who Face the Sun" for sale.
